TeachUP interview series: Nihan Uçar Sarımanoğlu
Dr. Nihan UÇAR SARIMANOĞLU is working as a project manager for General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies in Turkey. She is a doctoral researcher and working in the education field. She is professional in educational assessment, educational materials, research design, educational technology and international education. She has a PhD on educational assessment, testing and measurement in mathematics education from Middle East Technical University. She is also a part-time instructor and gives lectures on the history of mathematics, adult education and human rights at TED University.

TeachUP interview series: Desiree Scicluna Bugeja
Ms Desiree Scicluna Bugeja currently holds the position of Assistant Director within the Directorate for Learning & Assessment Programmes within the Maltese Ministry for Education and Employment. She is responsible for STEM subjects and coordinates a team of curriculum leaders in the field of STEM education. She is the national coordinator of a number of European projects including Scientix, Teach-UP, SYSTEMIC and CDG4E. Ms Scicluna Bugeja has a keen interest in educational assessment and evaluation and has often lectured undergraduate and qualified educators re quality and standards in educational practices. She has a teacher education degree and a postgraduate diploma in Youth Studies and a Masters in Educational Evaluation & Assessment.

Launch of the 3rd series of Country Dialogue Labs
The third series of Country Dialogue Labs kicked off on 13 November 2019 with the Austrian dialogue platform convening on 13 November 2019 in Salzburg, followed by Malta (22 November), Spain (25 & 26 November) 2019 and Lithuania (27 November).

The TeachUP policy experimentation is now entering its evaluation phase
The TeachUP policy experimentation is now entering its evaluation phase. During the project, four online courses for teachers have been developed together with a tutoring system for enrolled participants. The tutoring system has been tested during a field trial phase, which is coming to an end with the last survey to collect data on the process.

Launch of the 2nd series of Country Dialogue Labs
The 2nd series of Teach-UP Country Dialogue Labs is launched this week, with the first Lab being held in Salzburg (Austria) on 29 and 30 October. The 2nd series will conclude on 31 January 2019 with Malta's Lab.

TeachUP interview series: António José Osório
António has experience and works on initial and in-service teacher training, as well as in master and doctoral courses in the field of ICT in education and educational technology. He is also doing educational research on ICT in education and on educational technology, including researching about e–learning and online collaborative learning environments.
